Duxtop SSC-14PC Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Induction Cookware Set: QUICK OVERVIEW
What We Like
What We Don't Like
While there are induction cooktops that are compatible with standard cookware, it’s always a safe and smart decision to purchase a set of cookware that was made to be used with induction burners.
Induction cookware is magnetic to match the technology used in the cooktop stove, so you’re assured to get the most even heat, and best cooking experience possible.
Duxtop SSC-14PC Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Induction Cookware Set Review
Duxtop, a brand manufactured by Secura, has manufactured small appliances for decades. While the majority of its products are sold online, it also has national retailers.
The Duxtop SSC-14PC Induction Cookware Set is the only 14-piece induction-compatible cookware set that Duxtop offers. While there are smaller sets available as alternatives, none of them provide everything needed to deliver the full cooking experience.
Outside of the whole-clad, tri-ply, stainless steel features that come with this set, there are standard stainless steel options available.
Who is This Product For?
The Duxtop 14PC set is professional grade cookware, although you don’t need to be an expert to use it. No matter what your skillset, the pots, and pans can be used. Also, while the set states that it is induction cookware, it can also be used by cooks who prefer to use electric, gas, or halogen elements.
The box that all 14 pieces get shipped in weighs approximately 30 pounds, which is understandable given the Duxtop Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Induction Ready Cookware Set, provides everything needed to prepare meals on an induction cooktop.

Overview of Features
This Duxtop cookware set is Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless Steel. The Whole-Clad construction of the cookware set is made up of the base and the walls and also includes the three-layer construction feature. A sheet of aluminum has been placed between two separate layers of stainless steel. These specially designed pots and pans outlast others because of the Whole-Clad and Tri-Ply components. This type of construction provides even cooking and high performance.
Stainless steel is durable and commonly used in cookware. Duxtop incorporated premium stainless steel into the design process, ensuring that the material won’t warp, rust, or be broken during heavy-duty use.
It has a shiny surface, great rims that prevent spillage and dripping, cool-touch handles and a graded bottom that allows for secure storage. Additionally, the pots and pans can be used on multiple types of cooktops and can withstand temperatures leading up to 550°F.
How to Get the Most Out of It
As always, the most significant recommendation when using your new products is to consult your owner’s manual. That’s where you will find all the information that you need to get the most out of your Duxtop induction cookware set.
When you first get your box, you can follow along with the YouTube video provided for necessary unboxing assistance and general cookware information, but before you use it for the first time, you should wash it thoroughly with warm water and a mild detergent. While the cookware is dishwasher safe, it is recommended to hand wash with a mild soap and water because harsher dishwasher detergents could dull the exterior.
Duxtop recommends using a soft cloth or a sponge for all cleaning. It’s also essential that you keep in mind that your warranty is not going to cover damages to your cookware set if you go against the recommendations outlined in the user’s manual.
Also, you should place a paper towel between your pots and pans to avoid any scratches. The manufacturers also recommends using plastic or wooden utensils when using your Duxtop SSC-14PC set, as metal utensils could scratch your pots and pans. Keep in mind that scratches caused by metal utensils are not covered under warranty.
Duxtop offers a wide range of induction-ready cookware via their website, and on Amazon, however, there are other companies out there which produce induction cookware. We have reviews about other induction cookware sets here.
As an alternative to the Duxtop 14-piece set there is another high-rated set, the Cuisinart MCP-12N Multiclad Pro Stainless Steel 12 Piece Cookware Set. It is an Amazon Choice and is in the same price range. It has exceptionally positive reviews, and the collection was designed to last, can withstand up to 500°F, and was well-designed with ergonomically shaped handles, tapered rims, sturdy rivet attachments. It has two layers of stainless steel with an aluminum core which provides even and thorough heating.
Considering not just its price point and highly positive reviews, but also the sought-after features such as durability, usability, performance, versatility, and more, this cookware set does not disappoint.
The Duxtop company hit the nail on the head with the engineering of these long-lasting pots and pans and provided consumers with an affordable stainless steel cooking set that should be in everyone’s kitchens.
