Duxtop SSC-14PC Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Induction Cookware Set: QUICK OVERVIEW
What We Like
What We Don't Like
When purchasing cookware to use on your induction cooktop, it is important to make sure it is induction ready. Induction cookware is magnetic to match the technology used in the cooktop stove. Some cooking vessels are constructed so that they can be used with both induction and standard burners, while others only work on conventional cooktops.

Overview of Features
This Duxtop cookware set is Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless Steel. Whole clad construction insures the entire cooking vessel is conductive. This is in contrast to disc clad which has conductive material only on the bottom. [Disc clad is not always undesirable as it depends upon the thickness of the disc bottom. The thicker the disc, the more evenly heated the food will be.]
These Duxtop pots and pans have three layers of material throughout the cooking vessel. A sheet of aluminum is between two layers of durable stainless steel. Duxtop incorporated premium stainless steel into the design process, ensuring that the material won’t warp, or rust during heavy-duty use. This type of construction provides even cooking and high performance.
These induction vessels have a shiny surface, great rims that prevent spillage and dripping, cool-touch handles and a graded bottom that allows for secure storage. This induction cooking set can be used on multiple types of cooktops and can withstand temperatures up to at least 500°F (per brochure). The steamer insert fits the 3-Qt saucepan and the 8-qt stockpot.
How to Get the Most Out of It
As always, the most significant recommendation on how to use your new products is to consult your owner’s manual. That’s where you will find all the information that you need to get the most out of your Duxtop induction stove cookware set.
When you first get your box, you can follow along with the YouTube video provided for necessary unboxing assistance and general cookware information, but before you use it for the first time, you should wash it thoroughly with warm water and a mild detergent. While the cookware is dishwasher safe, it is recommended to hand wash with a mild soap and water because harsher dishwasher detergents could dull the exterior.
Duxtop recommends using a soft cloth or a sponge for all cleaning. It’s also important to keep in mind that the warranty is not going to cover damages to your cookware set if you go against the recommendations outlined in the user’s manual.
Placing a paper towel between your pots and pans will prevent scratches. The manufacturers also recommends using plastic or wooden utensils when using stainless steel induction pans, as metal utensils could scratch them. Duxtop cautions that scratches caused by metal utensils are not covered under warranty.
